1-On-1 Personal Training
Regardless of your age, body type, or gender, phenomenal results are in store for you! Be prepared to bring dormant muscles back to life, relieve stress, reduce and even alleviate aches and pains, and become more confident with your appearance. The cosmetic and non-cosmetic transformations that occur with our clients are a result of the scientifically backed and experienced approach to fitness that our professionals provide. Prior to ever stepping foot on the workout floor with a client, extensive information is gathered pertaining to workout history, health history, pre-existing injuries, current lifestyle behaviors, and fitness goals. Once that is done, it’s time to get physical and see what the client’s current capabilities are in an “assessment” type of workout. In this workout the intensity level will be about a 7 and you will leave feeling very accomplished and most likely tight and/or sore for a day or two. At this point, the professional has a very good understanding of the client’s capabilities and limitations and can go to the drawing board to create an exercise programming mesocycle that is designed specifically for the client. This program is a blueprint of what the client’s workouts, with and without the personal trainer, will entail for the next 4 weeks. At the one month point, a reassessment is performed to monitor the cosmetic changes that are occurring with the client. The tracking systems we use for this are: bodyweight, body fat percentage, circumference measurements, the mirror, and photos.

The exercise component is absolutely something that you want to solidify first and foremost but after that it will be time to address the nutrition. We don’t believe in diets. They are typically short lived and make people feel as if they’re being punished. We do believe in making more sensible lifestyle changes that will influence you to make better food choices. The recommendations that our fitness professionals will give you pertain to calorie consumption, optimal food selection, and balancing subpar food choices that will still allow for adequate progress to be made. Nutrition recommendations are complimentary and part of any 1-on-1 or group training service that is provided!
Working out with a partner is a nice compliment to the muscle-group specific, solo workouts that clients perform. The workout itself is a bit faster paced with exercises that are “de-loaded” in an attempt to target muscular endurance and cardiovascular conditioning. This way, the client can get a strong cardiovascular response without making them feel like they’re on a hamster wheel. Clients love being able to workout in this camaraderie-driven setting; whether it’s alongside a friend or significant other or a complete stranger, the feedback we get is it builds a strong support network and facilitates positive, friendly competition!
